A new Bracco Italiano breed club has been formed in the United States: the Bracco Italiano Club of America.
The objectives of the club are:
A. To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of pure-bred Bracchi and to do what is possible to improve their health and desirable qualities.
B. To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed adopted by the Bracco Italiano Club of America.
C. To do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at all canine activities that the breed can participate in.
D. To provide a single, organized registry database for Bracchi Italiani in the United States.
E. To conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows, field trials, health clinics, and judging seminars.
F. To promote responsible dog ownership and breeding practices.
G. To educate people about the Bracco Italiano breed.
H. To provide a communication network between Bracco owners.
I. To gain recognition with the American Kennel Club.
J. To promote the health testing of Bracchi.
K. To fund research of genetics and breed health.
